The story is pretty good~ The interactions between characters are believable and the MC is just amazingly well thought out. He's relatable and not a cold monster who kills without blinking.There are no brainless cliches like immortal cultivation-based power systems, face slapping, or arrogant young master as of the current chap where I read. It's all just magic and a Western fantasy-like world.From what I have observed, I have much to praise about this masterpiece, the novel is incredibly well constructed, the characters are not one-dimensional, and the reason for what happened to our MC's unsuccessful summoning is valid.The concept of MC's power is also interesting and strong, but he's not the battle-hardened warrior like his companions are, so he still has much to learn and grow.5/5 Potentially one of the best Chinese novels on Novelupdates.
