Very cute, fluffy story, but don't come here for anything complex. It is pretty much what it says on the tin: MC gets to kick her feet up and sip lemonade in the shade while watching her husband flex and solve her problems for her. Which like, good for her! But also, after the first few times, she's not even watching and thinking "Take Your Shirt Off" at him really hard, and is just in her rooms waiting for him to take care of work and come home so they can hang out.I did really like their chemistry, it's very well written, 10/10 Cute Couple That Teases Each Other.However, because it's so short, the characters' relationships with anyone besides each other fall kind of... flat. There are perks into them, which are nice, and the ML's past is suitably Horrifically Tragic, but... it doesn't really make up for all the missed plotportunities. There are SO many interesting side characters who just don't get developed, and don't get me started on the dropped plot point (s.) Spoiler
WHAT HAPPENED TO MISS ORIGINAL PROTAGONIST AND WHY IS THE STORY DIFFERENT?!?!?!? It's never explained and it is driving me Kind Of Bonkers!!! Just- they killed her offscreen, I get that, but Oh My God?!? I feel bad for her.
[collapse]Anyway, I'd give it a 3 1/2 rating. (Or a 3, but I can't revote...) Not Horrible, but not something I'd really recommend unless you're looking for a "no thoughts, only flirting and Good Vibes" kind of story.
