Pretty generic as of now. If you want a generic JP rom-com then this is one of the better ones. A complete doormat MC who bends over to the will of other characters without any resistance, the general harem tropey FMCs. The side characters are what I have enjoyed since they are recurring and make it feel like they do not just exist to help/oppose the MC.In the latest chapters he is starting to accept the advances and we are only a third of the way there but this looks to be a good novel to pass your time if your main novel is on hold. I don't like his moralistic bs to reject the sister character so if the author doesn't actually make him accept her then I will reduce the rating to 1 star later. If it doesn't end with a true harem end then also it deserves a 1 star for false advertising of being a harem novel when it isn't.
[collapse] Edit: So I have finished the novel now. It was not a cop out so the rating stays at 3. Nothing groundbreaking here and this could be a 4 or 5 if the MC wasn't a spineless wuss who is wishy-washy as hell. For example:SpoilerHe confesses to the senpai to chase away others and after that fails (he himself abandons the idea) then he still treats her as the "main" girlfriend for no reason. He has been indecisive and running away from everyone for the entire time and now suddenly he grows a conscience and wants to do her right? Feels like the Author just wanted to fulfill the fantasies of the people rooting for the hot busty senpai
[collapse]And the ending was pretty rushed as well with basically nothing explained and barely any progress compared to the beginning of the book. So this stays at 3 when it had the potential for 4.Also I hate it when Authors leave major plot points unexplained since they "never thought about it" in reality and just kept dropping hints. The Author himself accepts this and says that he can't please everyone so readers should headcanon what they see fit. Dude had one job and he didn't do it properly..
