Y'all are overhyping it 💀My biggest, primary issue w the novel is the prose. I call this "CN self sucking". So many paragraphs describing the same thing in different 'poetic' words that I actually lose interest in paying attention. I end up skimming and hoping to find a sentence that catches my attention because it's saying something else.Second issue is disguising the lack of obstacles. She always achieves her goals, and maybe the author is aware of reader fatigue when nothing goes wrong so they throw in fake obstacles that always resolve themselves immediately, either on the page or off.Related to this is my third biggest issue, random info thrown in that is pretty important but never built up to. A twist isn't a twist if it literally comes out of nowhere.Characterisation pretty good. Feels like a book of strong ideas, with shitty execution
