Definitely recommend this. The characters are well built and when introduced get at least some growth. This novel has the habit of when introducing characters and their stories, they build on them. Which is good, but that also means that whatever else is happening at that point is paused/or slowed down. And sometimes it can be boring to read those parts, but once it's done and over with the story continues. The pace is medium other than being slow sometimes, but the story flows smoothly. A few things I like from this is reading from the other characters perspectives! The interactions between the characters are also great. I especially enjoy reading the MC's and his brother's interactions. This novel has a lot of potential overall, give it a go!
