Read the translated chapters, MTL-ed the rest - so it's certainly addictive in that turn-your-brain-off way that so many of these novels are.On the other hand, this novel is EXTREMELY fatphobic and lookist. The villain is not only ugly and fat but motivated by their weight and appearance to attempt mu*der. There are a lot of stories that toy with this idea, but few are as blasé as this one - as though, if you are ugly/fat you should feel lesser than. I just got tired of the repeated "well of course villain would try to XYZ because if they don't, they'll be fat."I don't really remember the end - I got so fed up three quarters of the way through. None of the characters really experience any growth and there's no remorse on the part of the ex-fiance - just an "if only I'd noticed she was this beautiful to begin with!"It also rings hollow because we have a transmigrater MC - all I could think of was how pitiful it was the original soul never experienced the life she should have had - instead it was our MC, who got it back by doing literally nothing. As I say, this is a story that's easy to binge read, but personally I would look for another series.
