It's okayish actually, better than most rofan I come across because the FL moved the plot forward but the mystery part is handled badly.

I was so hyped by the mystery of the house but it's all underwhelming. I'm not interested in the origin of the virus. Also the way some monsters appeared and the characters just watched until it spread for real. The world building is very weak. There is close to nothing except the name of the kingdom, the families of the main characters, the name of some cities. understand most rofans are character focused and this one have characters that are somewhat fleshed out but even then, I can't be bothered by any of them. The FL is the only character I like

Knox have less presence so idk what the author is doing here.
