it's to have your mind open to all possibilities. Actually, this applies everytime you read a story fantasy story, you can't expect them to stay realistic.

in this case, the story have much more flow than the other Chinese fMC transmigration. To have a bit of idea, the MC is like the MC of the rebirth of the star general, just that I like this MC more, she's very lowkey that sometimes you'll be infuriated to death when other characters takes her credit and she doesn't really do anything about it like the inventions cause first, it's not really her invention and second, she doesn't give a f*, there will be face slapping when the author is finally stricken with conscience but it takes like 100 chapters for some characters to get their retribution but face slapping is not the main point of the story. It's the development of the environment around MC, the characters, I mean. There are times you'll miss MC cause she very rarely appears, why? Because if someone provokes her she'll sacked then and beat them up and the story is finished just like that. I can't really explain why I love gu jiao so much, just read it and like 10 chapters in I'm already inlove.

gu jiao is "disfigured" and it would stay like that for the most of the story, it kind of become her identity and I kind of hope it stays like that, it's just too iconic but we knew these ancient peeps are never going to shut up with those ugly allegations about her.

out of all the characters, the character that scares me the most was probably the impersonator of princess ning'an, when she showed her true colors there's just a creepy feeling. It's like when you stare at your reflection for a long time that it slowly scares you, that's the feeling. She's not very intelligent, she's just really scary and also because she's been lurking in the dark so when she's finally in the light and the MC side is in the dark, they were able to beat her in her own game. Plus, the fact that she got a bit impatient after she finally showed her true self, that mistake gives the MC side the opportunity. She is by no means the strongest character, the MC didn't even sweat against her, she just gives off uncomfortable vibes

the ML is a rare weak ml, in talks of martial arts novel, he is not as physically fit that sometimes I'm thinking that he doesn't deserve the MC but who says only women can be the beauty and a damsel in distress?and ML is not a good for nothing, he's incredibly intelligent but somehow the author rarely use him, only in critical moments, he's adorable but would sometimes had burst of danger mode moment, you can't expect ML to be able to fight with MC in the battlefield like other ML does, but he's the one she needs, because of her natural killing intent, she's pretty much locked on with killing and fighting, anyone as long as they are human will get exhausted with such situation, I think that's also the reason why MC kind of shy away from the spotlight (but that doesn't mean she's afraid of it) so the ML being quite a normal person and also a cutie pie is definitely a NEED for her

i love the story but I gotta say, the author is very much into misplaced credit then have that character send to heaven only to fall back in hell once everything comes to light. It's their own fault why it escalated to that much but I would be angry too. And most of it was the fact that they didn't even snatch it knowingly, and really thought it was theirs. Also, the fact that if the little villain is a woman, it was very easy for the author to do all kind of face slapping to her but annoying men gets away after being beaten, just like marquis gu, he is def worse than gu jinyu who directly do things with her hands, marquis gu is like a pig teammate who ruins everything without realizing. He could have been very well ruin everyone's life around her if gu jiao didn't appear, which the dream have pointed, the og soul ending is the masterpiece of marquis gu's s*upidity, and all he could receive was disappointment while gu jinyu receives all kind of humiliation (well deserved but in comparison with marquis gu it sounds too much)

I'm currently entering the state of your arc so I'll also write a review after that-- (I'll be mad if the legendary ice skater gu jiaojiao didn't have its second appearance)

okay this is getting too long so what I can only say for this arc, too awesome!but also too long! It's a conspiracy after conspiracy, big conspiracy and an even bigger conspiracy.
