Adele is a woman who has gained memories of her past life. It's really nice to see her realizing the hurtful things she's done to her son and her son slowly realizing that his mother has changed and won't leave him, it's actually sad because this can be treated as real, a son yearning for the love of others. Parents who neglect them, the difference is that Adele changes. ML stresses me out a bit because he questions Adele all the time, but it's understandable, if I suspected a case of child ab*se, I wouldn't stand still either. It's also good to see how Adele perceives the wounds of Leon, who is the original MC, even in the beginning, when she knows that Leon is someone who can hurt her son by abandoning him, as he did in the original story, she understands that at the moment he's just a kid with trust issues and who is clearly jealous of Adele's relationship with her son.
