Ngl this novel is not what I expected. Quite short but entertaining. I guess the author wouldn't want to go into depth or detail on technique and history description, but it's quite good, wouldn't bored some reader, but if they could extend on some leading event would be great. Most of the time I wouldn't get to know much on backgrounds characters, tho they even with that they still have significant effect for the plot. However as mentioned above, I don't know what backgrounds of other side characters. Maybe author just don't want have many name characters which would confuse reader. Like the big boss villain boss no name and no clear description of him with the ml. Still the relationship building is great not rushing, how devoted of MC and ml. MC is not childish and timid, willingly, reasonable brave and ML is mature and cold but I guess this man is old evil but justified evil at one point; not his fault tho Spoiler
They took advantage of him after his death and made him evil when he was awken with no sanity.
