🌟Amazing.🌟It shows a different view of Chinese culture and mysticism, much deeper and more complete than the usual Cnovels.The story itself (as far as I've read at least) is mainly composed of many different stories, revealed or solved by the MC, and some slice of life to string them together.Every story is treated very well by the author, and most could easily make a great novel by themselves.The characters are mostly fleshed out pretty well, with good people being flawed, and bed people being complex and believable. At least for the most part.Now for the (pretty negligible) problem:While every character that gets proper attention is fleshed out and is treated as a flawed but not one dimensional person, many side characters are not.I really am being petty here, but the main character is presented by the story a person who will punish people for what evil they do but still... I don't know, understand that they were complex? It's hard to describe so idk it's just a bit jarring that sometimes people are suddenly seen as one dimensional, just a villain. It's minor characters, but the MC is so wise, it's really weird to see her like that. (It became a rant, sorry😅) Bottom line: probably the best cnovel I read in a long time very much recommended.
