To be honest after reading all the great reviews I had hope for this novel. Unfortunately it fell flat. I never liked the whole magical jade with a space stuff cus it always ends up being too big of a golden finger to the point where I just feel that the author is being lazy. And thats the feeling I got throughout this novel so far.It started out ok and then just went downhill. The prince fell in love with her before she could even plot anything, this would have been amusing and somewhat original if it wasn't for the fact that he falls in love with her for no apparent reason. He's a completely cardboard cut out type character.The MC is getting really annoying because she doesn't even try to act according to the era most of the time. Once she realizes the prince is in love with her she just does and says anything she wants in ways that definitely would have gotten her in trouble, but of course she doesn't get in trouble cus the prince is in luuuve with her and therefore anything she does is ok. And also, I find the ages of the two really disturbing cus the prince is 16 and the MC is 12 or 13, and they're already having s*x.The translation is good but the writing is just plain lazy. So far nothing interesting has happened and the MC isn't coming off as charming, intelligent and lively like the author wanted but rather a reckless idiot with a little bit of cunning. She's always complaining about something even when everything is working out for her, which is just really annoying.If you're looking for slice of life and harem intrigue its better to reread To Be A Virtuous Wife, Eight Treasures Trousseau or Legend of the concubines daughter Minglan.
