Re-read 12 December 2023:Just a thought, which one do most reader prefer? A frequently update good translation of one novel or a rarely update good translation of several novel?For me, I prefer to finish the food on my plate before looking for other dishes. 💙✨✨✨MTL up to Chapter 253, readability 60%.Could any translator pick this up 🥺, I almost burnt my brain trying to read the MTL 😅If there's any other choice for the ML characterization which define the monogamous relationship, I'd choose him in a blink, however this story set in ancient China when polygamous marriage was the norm.It broke my heart to see that even though ML only had true relationship with FL, he was in a way ruining his wife and concubines lifes by marrying them.But, if there's no FL, he'd be their husband for real just like the previous life, which also a ruined life for some of the concubines including FL original host.That's how society worked at the time.But the conflicts, the counterattacks are what I'm here for.I adore their interaction, their sizzling romance and their grasp of each other psychology. They have yet to give 100% of their true feelings to each other, but looking out for each other.Truly, I'd love to finish reading this novel in one sitting, but I don't understand Chinese at all.
