I get why some dislike this story but I personally love it! It’s so entertaining to read, a total page turner with heavy doting, light smut scenes, and just the right amount of palace infighting.MC is a completely ridiculous and unrealistic character but I am here for it. In a fictional world where I get transmigrated back to ancient time and forced to join a harem, I would totally want to be like her. She’s padded with max op skills (photographic memory, natural le*d body fragrance, literary talents, omnipotent snd all knowing) and uses them to live a lazy doted life. She’s got a lot of self esteem which sometimes come off as self centered, often acts disconnected and aloof to the happenings around her. Spoiler
She doesn’t truly fall for the ML precisely because of her self esteem and value, which I actually love because tbh its kinda hard to fall for him.
[collapse] She’s a walking moral contradiction, where she thinks in her case, the di wife should just let her husband go to her, the concubine without regards, but in the case of her older sister who’s also a di wife, one must reign in their authority and whip the concubines in shape rightfully.But I still love this character because she’s so charming. She’s op but only utilizes her skills for protection, only when absolutely necessary. She takes down others in such a grand, straightforward manner. She’s unapologetic in her demeanor to the point of breaking ancient etiquettes. She puts self preservation at the forefront. And I think that’s kinda the point of a story of a spoilt rotten concubine ya know. Just enjoy living vicariously through this likable character being spoilt.As for the romance lmao. I love the boss-employee dynamic perceived by the MC, as opposed to the hopeless unrequited love as viewed by the ml. The ML is a really cruel and vicious ruler, and his character is consistent throughout the story except for when it concerns the MC, he’s a total puppy. I think he deserves the lack of affection he gets from her.Overall, don’t take this story so seriously, it’s a fun read where MC gets doted and spoilt to the max, hence the title lol. Highly recommend if this sounds like what you’re looking for.
