I love this, this completely displays how ancient times were for women, and royalty. No domineering, I only want you and we won't have any problems since I am a Prince syndrome, this novel is actually realistic. Even though the MC is a legal daughter she can only start off as a concubine for a prince, even thought she gives birth to 2 sons for the ML the furthest she can reach with the Empress and the Emperors approval is a 2nd consort which is basically one step above a concubine. Very realistic when describing ancient times relations between men and women.So as much as I with my mentality want MC to be with someone that is only loyal to her and can prove it, in a novel such as this one, I know it is not possible. So ML being interested in a 13 year old? Well back then depending on the family and bethrotal items (bride price) he could have married and imp**gnated her right away. Just sayin'Spoiler
