This is a lovely surprise of a novel! I quite enjoyed it. Although the title mentions being straight, this was not a big plot point, in my opinion. There is no antagonist, rather, the story focuses more on the MC and ML's relationship and personal development.Spoiler
The MC is originally very dependent on ML because he pampers him so much due to both loving him and also due to MC's sickly constitution. MC was spoiled, but he had to face some hard realities after their accident.
I kind of got a good feeling in the earlier chapters when ML would not let go of MC's hand after the accident, but alas, he woke up with amnesia.
This story shows both of their struggles, emphasizing the fragility of their relationship. The accident exposed many things about themselves that they never realized.
[collapse]It was lovely reading how the ML fell in love with MC all over again (against his will) and how jealous he was of his old self later (pre-anmesiac). He would tell MC to stay away from him, but he's then do things for MC like take care of him. What a contradictory ML! Intimacy is good, but it's. Not straight smut, but more ambiguous. Lol, if the author had included smut, it would have been interesting, because these two don't necessarily shy away from intimacy.SpoilerThey had already been in a defined and physical relationship prior to the accident.
