This novel is plot armour galore.It's always timed that the protag gets what he needs as he finds out he needs it. The Earth of the novel is some backwards ass earth where there's only like 6 good blacksmiths in RL but they have the virtual tech and interwebs. I was hoping they would cover how blacksmith became an almost extinct art but it just seems like a plot point for the protag and no world building reason.Need money for medical bills + other shit. Bam, someone happened to bid just enough for you to afford it all and a bit more.Only a small percent chance of cutting the sword and you have three tries? Of course you get it on the third try.
