Genius Blacksmith’s Game Chapter 207 Discussion

I would personally rate it 3.5/5 mostly because the beginning is way too similar to the author's other work, gourmet gaming but the MC is a blacksmith instead of a chef/gourmet. The story started to branch out in around chapter 100-ish

I've seen a couple of comments wondering why the world has no blacksmiths anymore but it was explained literally in the first chapter that there were no traditional blacksmiths because most of them use machines.

‘Isn’t there a famous Mr. Smith who is a blacksmith?’

‘He is famous, but Mr. Smith said he’s embarrassed to be called a blacksmith.’

‘Embarrassed?’

‘He says his blacksmithing skills are adapted to machinery. There’s no one who does blacksmithing by hand from start to finish anymore.’

It do agree that it has ridiculous plot armor tho but not for the same reasons.

The first and most atrocious one IMO; his dad literally woke up from coma just to give him the production method then fell right back into coma afterwards. Second, he only managed to defeat a demon because the NPC decided to give him the reward before clearing the quest. I don't think a minute has gone by after the rewards was given when the demon suddenly attacked and MC used the reward to clutch the fight. Third, he gained a skill (not sure if it was a temporary skill or not) to summon his friends... It's literally the power of friendship.
