This is actually pretty good. If u like transmigration of mian (which is my favorite of this genre) you're gonna enjoy this novel though not as satisfying as the former it's all good and stuff and it has the potential to be a 4 and even 5 star novel until gu zimu and king lurong arc..... I was just cursing the author like what was inside the author head when she/he wrote abt this cp. Not that I'm against age gap in fact I even enjoy the trope but it was just too much and disturbing for me. I felt so frustrated that I can't even enjoy the novel anymore no matter how much I try to ignore their existence like I kept pushing cos I want to see the 3 children grow up but it's hard!!!! I was low-key shipping Jiang kang Ning and zimu but... sigh... their relationship doesn't make sense. The king was in his 50s while zimu is 19... not cute at all. Reading about them felt like a there was a fish bone stuck inside your throatIt also frustrates me how the MC is too charitable? Like he kept giving all this brilliant idea and money while claiming he was too lazy and want to be low-key about it but he's literally running everywhere along with shijing I felt tired just reading them work non-stop and they're not being lowkey at all. I understand that he was helping the country to improve but there's a limit to it and what's with giving those 3500 of gold bar.... He literally empty his saving everytime he made a profit by giving it to everyone like what if something happened and he need an emergency money? did he expect the emperor to give it to him? He's so bad at business like he was smart yet was very s*upid at the same time Im not sure if I want to continue... the early chapters were so good and exciting that I stay up late just to read them but the second cp and MC lack of sense ruined the novel
