Found out it was finally fully translated so decided to reread. It was as enjoyable as I remember it to be but I'm having to knock off another star with the amount I had to skim through in the later half

especially with a certain side couple that was legit kind off gross to me. Despite how people in the comments argued that it happens in real life, doesn't mean that it can be acceptable and not gross.

The author tries to play it off in a humorous tone but honestly it legit gave me a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. It's a 30year age gap and while at first I thought it was going to be a paternal affection crap, it gets turns into romance 🤮 and the author spends an inordinate amount of chapters on it.

DNF at 182. I couldn't stand the ick anymore. I love when the focus is on the MC and the family, but whyyyy do we have to keep giving so much screentime to such an ick pairing. And the weird child marriage, I could overlook it at first when it was first "humorously" entertained in the story. But now the kids are still barely even 6 and 10yo, there's so much shipping going on like what the hell
