Impersonated Husband Chapter Completed Discussion

I've had this on hold for so long... Honestly, I really had to push myself to get through it. It was just alright, nothing special, kind of just there.

You can tell the author was trying to do something different, but it reads more like a rough draft than a finished story. I did enjoy the moments when it became suspenseful and a bit horror-like; I just wish there had been more of that.

Everything fell apart for me when they started dealing with the "demon" character in the way they did.

They could have done so much more with this setting.

Just to note, I actually didn't mind the first-person POV in this. Some might.

In the end, while there was potential, the execution ultimately fell short for me. It doesn't quite deserve all the acclaim it's received, but to each their own. I can understand why others might feel differently.
