I'm really enjoying this novel so far. I've only recently started checking out murim novels and this one is definitely my favorite so far. The MC not being into the Murim setting leads to a lot of funny moments and leads to genuinely making me laugh occasionally. Also, the novel does a good job of avoiding being stale, plus MCs heaven slaying star affliction is clearly getting worse and worse as the novel continues which to me shows that the author won't get stuck in. A single status quo and the MC will have to change/do something to address the star as things go on. I only have two criticisms, one is that (like all Genesis TL stuff) the update frequency is painfully slow. The second is that unfortunately the author has the MC say random racist stuff (once against black people, all other times against Chinese people) and while it's only happened 5 or so times and doesn't really ruin the novel as long as you ignore and move past it, it still sucks that it's included, to the point where I kinda wish the TL would just editorialize a bit and take them out (literally adds nothing to the story)
