Let me just start by saying, this is good shit. I mean that literally, since there's not a lot of depth to the novel; it's just fun. It's mostly slice of life, though, so if you're here for action, you're not gonna get a ton.I won't talk about the overall premise, since it's a pretty normal Villain System. What I will talk about, is what sets it apart from others like it.
- A main character with feelings. While that doesn't seem like too high of a hurdle to overcome, a lot of villain system novels have a machine-like or sociopathic main character. Even reading the MTL, his emotions were clearly portrayed. He's also no 7 dimensional chess player, being more of a normal person. Someone who makes mistakes, feels fear, and loves his life with the people around him.
- An 11/10 harem, in my opinion. There's no real drama, mostly. Small bits, but the MC is very good at harem management. It's done in a very organic way, without seeming unreasonable or relying on any of his cheats. Also, HE ACTUALLY LOVES THEM!!! Seriously, why is it so goddamn rare for an MC to actually love his harem?
- Great, relevant characters. Not a ton to say on this, but I really love how the author doesn't forget about anyone, and also how he develops characters before bringing them into the harem. The relationships are not speedrun, either before or after there's any romance.
- The fight scenes are... Funny? Entertaining? Hard to say. But basically, either the MC is op and can easily kick ass and slap face, or he's three f*cking major realms below them, forced to desperately spend his points on consumables just to barely cling to survival. The Spoiler

[collapse] left a MASSIVE impression on me, and was what cemented this book as one of my favorites.
