This novel of mo chen huan is a mess. Maybe it's her first attempt at apocalyptic novel? Anyway it's the worst of her work that I've read.The start was confusing. The science is even worse, the more it is explained the more brain dead I feel, lol. Or maybe it's the MTL. MC and ML was somewhat mediocre, I find the supporting characters more interesting. Also what makes me uncomfortable was the descriptive violence on mutant animals under experimentation. I felt it was too excessive.Her other novels especially the showbiz ones are my favourite though.
