I'm writing this review for readers who are trying to find hidden gems. I've read a lot of cultivation novels, and I must say that this one is quite unexpected. Though there are some parts that are annoying, for me, it was quite a fun read.I must say, when I read the review about the ML's attitude, it made me dropped it immediately after trying the first chapter. I must say that it was quite s*upid of me to drop it just like that.Spoiler
About the ML's attitude in the beginning, all I could say was, he didn't do things right over and over again because of his dislike to our MC in the beginning, and his blind infatuation, I still find it novel because it was a human nature to be blind especially to the person they have feelings for. And yes ML, wasn't the best but he wasn't the worst either.
[collapse]Also, what I really want to say was, I'm so sick of "soft" uke/bottom. One more read like that and I would vomit. And it's coming from me who had read more that 10 Long-ass Cultivation novels.I hate it when chinese author makes the uke/bottom effeminate calling them wife and the uke acting on it. Like damn, I hate it so much. They don't have any character. Thus, I'm glad I gave this one a try. The MC does have a lot of personality compared to others.
