Not my cup of tea. I've only read up to the second game but MC's actions have left a bitter taste in my mouth and it's hard to stand behind her actions.

Spoiler

So what happens is MC almost gets sexually assaulted by some people. There is a large number of people nearby who basically turn a blind eye to what is happening, letting the assault continue. But some people stand up for MC and she is saved by ML, so nothing happens.

Next day, they all get pulled into a game. MC eventually realizes how to clear the game, but maliciously witholds this information because she believes these people are tr*sh and should die. I won't blame her for feeling this way because she's a victim. But she was also actively putting her own life at risk when she was already a burden and not contributing to the effort to clear the game because of her disability, AND she was also risking the lives of the people who actually helped her because they were the ones actually trying and doing the legwork. It wasn't like the people were dying off screen either. They were dying right in front of her in an enclosed space, being eaten by a giant frog monster. This wasn't a small amount of people either. Over 30 people went in and only 5 survived at the end. The answer was also very simple and something easily done.

Did the people suck? Yeah, sure. But had she been in a similar situation, I'm not too sure if she would've taken action either. It's not like she had a moral high ground to these people. These people really just died because she was being vindictive.

Her evil actions should not be excused just because she is the MC or because she's disabled. Doesn't matter that she didn't kill them directly, she deliberately witheld life-saving information until they were all dead-- their blood is on her hands.

[collapse]

I know she'll probably have character development since it's over 1000 chapters, but her actions are too icky for me to continue. I don't usually expect morally upstanding people as protagonists in infinite flow novels, but even this I feel has crossed a line. I will prefer cool-as-a-cucumber indifference over whatever I just read. : (
