I haven't gone that far, but I really love this novel.The plot is quite immersive, and maybe if you have humour like mine it's hilarious as well. The fighting scenes are well described and make think, " well damn."The MC is a very realistic example of what someone who survived the apocalypse would be like. I cannot help but laugh when he states the human content of people, he sounds like a puppy. He has that fresh breath of air coupled with that poisonous tang most readers love. He is very practical and has a straight forward attitude.The ML is a simply a charming dagger, one not afraid to show his edges. He is blunt as well and has a beautiful chemistry with the MC. It's cute how he wants to experience what the MC has gone through but unnerving at the same time due to his enthusiasm. He loves threatening people, objects and animals. He has a deeper character than it appears, and it's not some shallow depth but really complex.The world building is amazing. The side characters and even cannon fodder all play a role in this. Then there twists in the instances as well, most rather unexpectedIt keeps you guessing and right now it seems read worthy.
