It's refreshing to have a director-MC, not an actor-MC.

MC is hilarious, esp how he tries his best to avoid the main leads (esp Chenran) and eventually,

how he advises Chenran to leave his lover and run off with the money. Also. Character development!! Chenran grows!!

Unfortunately, the original "ML" has no such character development. I guess face slapping still needs to happen.
