This my personal opinion : the MC start out as basically a c*ckroach stuck in a pile of shit, and the harder he tries to get out the deeper he falls, and when he finds himself almost out, some as*hole will step on him and shove him even deeper. Don’t get wrong, this is a compliment because it’s so entertaining watching him struggle.On a serious note: the story is very good and there are some stereotypical characters from Isekai tropes that their personalities are anything but.
