The author of this novel is definitely an Overlord fan. There's simply no way he's not when the setting of this novel is so similar. He even knows the obscure Overlord-only jargon of "bipedal sheep".This is actually a pretty enjoyable novel to read if you turn your brain off.One main complaint against this novel from me is its tone switches. The tone switches of this novel can go from lighthearted to dark real quick. While it can be fun sometimes, the way the author executed the tone switches can also felt pretty unnatural and forced. The characters are slightly awkward, there's almost no character development at all. There seem to be a lot of things that are being happened that should affect several of the characters, yet they showed no reaction at all.The MC doesn't seem to be used for any purpose except boosting the side characters and being accidentally erotic. Her power levels aren't clearly described. Sometimes she is the fastest among all her subordinates, sometimes she won't even dodge other's attacks even when she clearly knew they were coming. It felt a little forced. The plot is basically a power-fantasy except the MC is female.Because of the above, this novel is perfect for being a braindead novel. You simply enjoy this novel by turning off your brain. This is basically a Overlord but not dark and with a female protag.
