The Villainess Knows How To Spend Money Chapter 16 Discussion

The protagonist is highly unlikable, very childish in a negative way. In her past life, she detested her family for seeking money from her and being rude. However, upon transmigrating, she becomes the very villainess she despised—only approaching her talented, rich family for money and treating them with extreme rudeness. Despite her terrible actions, everyone inexplicably adores her.

MC is so awful that she has never been nice to anyone and constantly calls even her family insane in her thoughts. It's like a very low level villainess receives a protagonist buff that makes everyone obsessed with her. For example, she kicks crown prince in c*otch two times and somehow the emperor apologises to her for the situation (favoring her over his own son).

The main reason I stopped reading is because MC constantly insults her eldest brother, Douglas, who hasn't done anything bad to her. What happens in story:

MC despises Douglas simply because he pointed out that she doesn't work and spends a lot of money. Thats it. Then Douglas got instantly scolded by MC's mom that he is an awful brother and that he should give his money to MC. He does that and MC still continues to pick a fight with him. MC just casually takes his money and spends it in shops saying "I'll take it all" (also, what's the point of shopping if she does that every time she goes somewhere?). MC also states that in novel, after Evelyn (MC) dies, Douglas is first one to attempt to take revenge for her and dies, and yet she never acknowledges that fact and continues to hate him. Later on MC asks one of Douglas lands for her to have, he asks her to call him "brother" and after MC does that he points out that it was too insincere (it is true tho), but MC doesn't care and just steals the document, runs away and asks other brother to sell it (thanks to novel she knew that land value would soon drop, but her way of doing things and everybody being cool with it seems awful).

How badly MC treats Douglas in chapter 15/16 (btw MC is 20 years old but acts like 5 year old) :

MC wants to go to illegal auction house and her family sends Douglas as her escort to protect her. MC doesn't let him even touch her and all the time she tells him to go home. She doesn't even let him walk next to her because she constantly runs ahead of him. Then she doesn't let him sit next to her and tells him just to stand. Then she orders drinks only for herself and is happy that Douglas is sad that he got nothing. The money MC uses for bidding belongs to Douglas, but her sole consideration is showcasing her wealth and extravagant spending for everybody to see. Poor Douglas even says that he had plans to buy MC a gift in auction, but plan was ruined because the family forced him to be MC's escort (and yet he never whined like MC) but MC doesn't even care. And then she proceeds to boss him around like a servant.

About ML, he agreed to MC's contract and then he instantly regretted it, because MC is too troublesome. Later, when the ML offers ideas, the bratty MC rejects them and reminds him that she gave him 200 gold so he should act the way she wants him to (it's weird because she also states that ML is too rich to care about money).

The original heroine lacks depth, she is a classical "I need a villainess so the crown prince would love me", but she doesn't do anything smart. She is just emotionally unstable and blames MC for that.

It feels like every chapter is exponentially getting worse, MC seems irredeemable.
