I’m really liking the premise so far since I’m a big fan of entertainment novels but the timeline in this novel is confusing me a lot? Like the mother of the main character was born during the Korean war so realistically the timeline in the novel by chapter 44 should be somewhere between 1980-1990 but everyone already has smartphones and ipads? Even social media is talked about in the story? I’m used to novels being weird but usually there’s an explanation (even if its brief) if the world in the novel is more advanced than the real world. Spoiler
maybe the world is advanced because of the interference of angels and demons? Idk?
