If you compare the original translation to the new translation, there are certain details added to the new translation that would lead one to believe that the story has to take place where the MC is born in 1975. I don't believe that is the case. It seems to me, that the story must take place when the MC is born somewhere in the early 90s. Otherwise the technology and the music mentioned by the MC wouldn't be possible.In general the translation is a bit sloppy and plenty of times it can be confusing determining who is talking. The story seems to be about the plot of a demon from hell and how his blessings affect the MC Geon and his journey as a musician/media star. As far as I've read, there doesn't seem to be too much to praise in terms of plot or direction. The story is okay, but wants to establish how amazing and unique the MC is by having him receive gifts from demons and angels and even meeting famous musicians in his dreams.
