This novel is a gem. It's funny, filled with intriguing mysteries that keeps you engaged. One of the standout aspects is that the main character isn’t unique for being the only one reincarnated which is really refreshing for the genre (more later).The novel does have some of the typical issues such as plot armor. However in this case it’s handled in a way that feels more natural. The protagonist could have been anyone among the thousands of people reincarnated in this world, but the story focuses on him simply because he’s the one who got lucky. It’s a clever way of acknowledging the role of chance in the narrative.The characters are relatively smart (though not always) and the pacing is good so far. I highly recommend giving this novel a chance, it’s one of the best on this genre.
