Surviving the Game as a Barbarian Chapter 80 Discussion

It's amazing how the author takes a potentially fun premise with unga-bunga protagonist and writes the most boring and mundane events. Most parts of chapters are spent on running somewhere, stat info dumps or dealing with yet another group of adventurers who try to kill the MC over loot.

There are no fun side characters or character interactions. Every major arc the author gives the MC a new teammate, forces them to run a dungeon together, then casually throws them away from the story. I am at chapter 80+ and not sure if the current team sticks around or he will do the same trick the third time.

The only even remotely interesting thing happening is the existence of the other players, who get witch hunted by the natives.

Overall it's yet another soulless novel that feels like a bunch of side quests and chores stiched into a story and doesn't shine out in any way.
