Surprisingly enough I enjoyed this story more than I expected, considering most of it was mtl and the word fairy dominated the word count. ML goes through actual character growth and FL too, though at the beginning she seems the portrayal of all the fairy clichés. She’s slowly learning to be human and to accept him without blinders but not while being a doormat to his yandere tendencies (while unfortunately still maintaining the “pure” personality that is so widespread in chinese novels- well, she’s a fairy after all so...). One star off for the redundant descriptions and poorly inner dialogue, as for fl’s too skittish behavior with ml. Only one star off as the novel was full of fluff otherwise and the characters actually had character growth which is rare.
