Considering the unlimited flow, AI, and horror tags I kinda expected more.

But the horror wasn't scary/creepy/gore there was no such atmosphere for the reader, the AI didn't seem like AI just a genius kid and smart rizzler, and the unlimited flow wasn't interesting. The first few games while ZZ was still just a player was ok but the games ZZ designed was a damper.

There are a lot of contradicting points that doesn't really make any sense and many plot holes because of some points that are made for convenience. Which includes a portion of the romance.

Spoiler

Like, according to ZZ's initial logic (pertaining to his loneliness) isn't he more likely to be most attached to Z rather than A who also logs out like everyone else. That's just one of the many plot holes but that's what bugged me most as I was very much looking forward to how the author would turn ZZ's and A's relationship into romance but that was a letdown.

And since I already put out a spoiler might as well add another that bugged me most; I can't make any sense of how the aliens/distant minorities, who are the horror NPCs hired in the games, supposed to change the humans' negative impression of their appearance and characteristics for the better if what they're doing is scaring them possibly creating trauma. That's what Mo Lan said is their motive anyway but it's like using scary stories to make children obedient but then making them scared until adulthood.

[collapse]

All in all, with the horror, AI, and unlimited flow tags being not very existent, whats left is romance to which is another combination of stoic-turned-henpecked gong X innocent-sunshine shou like any other.

1 star for the innocent-rizzler it hit my funny spot.
