Love NPC in Nightmare Game Chapter 44 Discussion

Very good fun and emotionally introspective read, what I think really stands out are the MC and the well fleshed out side characters

PLOT : 5* MC is romance npc that gained sentience and is now hiding that while acting as a player in a horror game,

MC: 5* he's very sweet and still learning about the world, emotions, and himself; I think he has great characterization because he's naive but still smart, not a push over, and strong

ML : kind of your typical cold ML but without the toxic controlling abusive tendencies; idk if this is a spoiler but Spoiler

ML is emperor who at first thinks MC is an undercover agent plotting against him

ROMANCE: slow to start but makes sense because the MC is still developing as a person

SIDE CHARACTERS: 5* have distinct endearing personalities, lives, and interconnected relationships outside of the MC's sphere of influence (they don't all feel like they exist for the mc)

HORROR: 1* not recommended if you are specifically looking for a horror story; it has horror elements (which contrast really well with the perspective of a romance npc lol) but nothing so far has been scary or creepy due to the perspective we get from the mc
