Even as a wishful-filment novel, this one is as bad as other dry JP isekai webnovel. I even doubted myself if I was actually reading one of those JP novel.

Don't bother reading it even if you're searching for junk foods.

Action is dry

Romance is not two but one dimensional

Characters are inorganic

Plot is cliche

Drama, or whatever this novel cooked up, is teenage level annoying

I guess it make sense because they are teenagers. Some of the troupes in the novel that I had trouble 'digesting':

1. Fat MC suddenly becomes fit with the use of fantasy potion. Now people are awestruck, "Wow, who's that handsome." You don't know how much cringe I had to endure while hoping it will get better.
2. MC made a master and servant kind of relationship with another herione for the public. If my mtl literacy is correct, it's because herione wants to befriend him for secretly saving her but his reputation is sh*t so he's worried that they will bully her if she hangs out with him. In the end, he compromised by making this deal so they could naturally interact? Wow, look at the power of friendship. I thought he already determined himself to act like a villain in public so what the hell is he doing taking this risk that he'll expose his act if someone tailed on him and caught his private exchange with the herione? He could have just stay still and let his past rumors cook than taking this unnecessary risk.
3. So it did happened, his act got exposed by the main herione and now she's mad why he wasn't kind to her when they were still together. Ohh this s*upid drama, it's like 'novel's extra' again. I know where this is going already.

I see nothing good in this novel even if I lowered my standard down to the bottom. At best, some aspects are barely average level but most are down to the bottom.

I might re-evaluate once the translation catch up but even so, the most I can give this novel is 2 star if I do change my ratings.

TLDR: It's a thick poison.
