There may be more action later, but as of ch 75 the students are still in their first semester and too young to know to fight. It sounds like the OG protagonist isn't even chosen as a hero until graduation so there is quite a ways to go.The translation is very good. The TLer cares, and even retranslated early chapters after the author rewrote them.
