So, having caught up with the free, translated releases as of writing this review, here's my overall thoughts.First off: Skip the first 20 or so chapters until Karuti is introduced. Literally every single thing that happens prior to Karuti is unimportant, MC is absolutely insufferable during the prologue, and you will be tempted to drop the series if you actually try to read it. Literally just ctrl+F search Karuti until you find her. - The events from that point on are actually kind of important, especially later on, and Karuti is pretty much the only really relevant recurring character from the demon realm up to the point I'm at. A certain other character is referenced occasionally with scenes from their PoV, but honestly, it barely matters, and honestly more-so just serves as an excuse to include milf solo scenes. Plus like 90% of their scenes are after the introduction of Karuti anyway. So, with that out of the way, let's go over the various things.Translation is actually pretty good. I will say there's a few points where I think it could be better, as Korean doesn't literally translate into English that well, and thus we get some very odd sentences occasionally, mainly with MC praising his subordinates. But overall, 9/10 on the translation work so far IMHO. It reads quite well, though there's a few typos in the most recent chapters.Content: Well, the MC is, uh, I guess this is technically a spoiler so... Spoiler
Literally an Incubus, so the series has a LOT of s*x.
[collapse] However, despite the heavy amount of s*x scenes, it's actually got a surprisingly decent fantasy isekai world domination storyline going on, that's honestly very reminiscent of Re:Monster. Just... if the focus of Re:Monster was almost entirely s*x.There's a LOT of "technically non-consensual" content, though I say this because in all honesty, if you actually pay close enough attention, MC really only truly forces like, 4 or 5 out of the 40-50 girls he has so far. Bro also 100% brainwashes everyone successfully. To kind of ridiculous extents at times. There's also very heavy foreshadowing of likely in*estuous relations between MC and both his sister and mother in the future, however it hasn't actually happened yet. I also say "in*estuous" but... it's honestly seriously questionable if they're even actually genetically related, especially him and his siblings. They also don't have any form of prior relationship. And considering all of this and the fact MC's been isekai'd into this body... I'd honestly say it barely even counts even if it does happen.s*x scene quality I'd say is like, 3/5. It's nowhere near the best I've read, though it gets better as the series goes on, and it's notably better than some 18+ fanfics and whatnot I've read in the past.I'd put the overall writing at like, 6-7/10. It's decent, but nowhere near a literary masterpiece. But at the same time, I've read a LOT worse. The majority of the characters are actually surprisingly well thought out and written, though one other review IS correct on the fact a lot of the early monsters are very... simplistic and naive, especially initially. The 2 that Spoilerbasically function as MC's wives
[collapse] do seemingly get more intelligent and capable as the series goes on though, and a lot of later characters are easily on-par with humans, and have a lot more depth to them and whatnot. The human characters are actually surprisingly more fleshed out and deeper than I expected them to be, considering the nature of this series.However... there's one big asterisk on "characters are well written and thought out." And that is... this is true, AFTER they join MC. So far, all but like 4 characters, prior to joining MC, were absolutely insane and insufferable. Like, to the point I genuinely don't know how some of these people even managed to survive up until they met MC.My biggest complaint of this series so far... is actually something that's probably going to sound very strange. And that is... the existence of the main storyline. Seriously, nearly every issue the series has, is almost directly tied to the main storyline. And pretty much the only point of it so far is to force the MC to not just turtle in his dungeon having s*x for the entire story. Which is like... the entire point of the series so far, so... yeah. It's like, 60% MC having s*x, 30% MC expanding his dungeon and conquering new species to add to his subordinates and harem, and then 10% "Oh, right, there's this demon vs angel storyline, go do something about it.". Oh, and like 2% SpoilerMC's sister being a total voyeur and constantly spying on him having s*x.
[collapse]Overall, 3.5-4/5, story is literally SpoilerRe:Monster if the MC was an incubus instead of an ogre and thus focused entirely on s*x instead of it just being a notable part of the story, and yet was also infertile
[collapse], and honestly? It's actually surprisingly good story-wise for a blatantly sex-focused story. Like, not gonna lie, I actually read the last like 80 chapters I had left in one sitting because it was actually a surprisingly good read. There's definitely better stuff out there, both story-wise and "content"-wise, but you can also do a lot worse, so if you're not turned off by the... R stuff, I'd honestly say it's worth a read if you're interested. Just, again... skip the first like 80-90% of the prologue. Also be aware that female design is pretty much relegated to "Big b**bs". - There isn't a single character so far that's been described as having anything less. To the point the series is self-aware of it with the MC occasionally noting "Is there something about mana and divine power that makes women grow better figures?".
