The Rankers Guide to Live an Ordinary Life Chapter Completed Discussion

I'm going to preface this by saying that whatever your initial impression of this novel is- it's probably wrong. The story starts out with a laid back OP protagonist who does what she wants, kind of like cat. Most of the first story arc comes off as a comedic slice of life power fantasy, as you learn and get attached to the various characters. But every once in a while you see cracks, you see bits and pieces of the broken people that lie beneath the surface, and it hints at the tragedy in the making. All and all, it's a great story that sucks you in but beware if you can't deal with emotional heavy stuff.

As an aside, the current translation is pretty rough and littered with references to things that if you don't have context for in (mostly Korean pop internet culture) it will make very little sense.
