First off, the translation on this is fantastic. I wish I could give this novel a separate star rating based just on that, because it deserves a 5. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!The concept for the story is fine. It isn't anything earth shattering, but it has elements that interest me.I tend to prefer more struggles to succeed than we get with this story, but I can live with that. I know there are plenty who prefer their MCs to be on competency rails. To each their own.The main issue with this for me is the execution and writing. We're told that something important happened rather than experiencing more often than not. Critical events (like say, a wedding) are handled with a few sentences. As a result, it never truly felt immersive to me, and the pacing felt rushed.
