Ooodilally....If you're looking for a light fluffy story, this ain't it.It gets pretty dark, exploring the destruction of human and societal bonds in the face of apocalyptic adversity, but there is some truly brilliant writing and I hear a happy ending.You'll have to forgive the ML at the beginning. He's had a lot of character development happen without us or the MC.And the translation is great... except for the long a** wikipedia footnotes at the ends of some chapters. Those are annoying, but informative. The science behind the science fiction.Anywho, skipping those, this is not a story about some lucky couple who through cheats and an OP ML conquer the stars.This is a story about two people with divided purpose and insane personal strength, still getting their butts handed to them by life. And despite betrayal after betrayal, disaster after disaster, and plenty of misunderstandings, still found more worth in being each other's companion than anything else in the universe.Very much a "Love conquers All, but not without a damn terrible war" sort of story.Spoiler
A literal black hole can't keep these two apart. Though it tried and kinda succeeded.
[collapse]I won't say it's perfect. The side characters and villains are a little flat. The story is just so focused on the MCs and their trials, that we don't get a lot of time with the people around them.Completely worth the read if you're into mature story lines and don't mind a bit of grief to get to an "And they lived Happily Ever After".
