The MC was too naive and clueless for me. He was meant to be a seargant, and with his personality it's extremely hard to believe.The whole idea really makes no sense as to why they were so quick to agree to end a 2000 year old war with a marriage. Also, the MC was way too compliant with it and also with everything in general.
