I am sorry for being rude but is it me or are these side characters in Chinese novels particularly shameless? They call it hugging the thigh of someone strong but basically, they are being leech. In this novel, the MC is raising them and they don't feel ashamed at all, instead, they order food as if they are in a restaurant. Even if I am staying with my relatives I try to inconvenience them as little as possible. Is this a cultural difference that I am not able to understand? Please suggest me some novels in which the side characters equally contribute instead of relying on a person with their thick face
