I've probably read all of the author's works, although I'm more partial to their BL novels. This one is just as good. Lin Dan is an interesting MC. I also love the fact that there's minimal romance and the focus is mostly just on Lin Dan's journey. However, I had to remove 2 stars because of the quality of the translation starting from the 3rd arc. It's pretty bad. I hope the site owner can look for a better translator, or even a proofreader. It's frustrating to see a good novel like this get ruined by the current translator.
