A very very generic, boring and lazily written power fantasy novel.This novel is literally what would happen if you combine the face slapping, courting death, and other infamous elements of generic xianxia novels into a parallel universe of Earth.While I don't mind power fantasies, this novel is written with so little care that it's just impossible for me to enjoy it.The characters are one dimensional, and are some of the most generic ones you can find out there.Everything in the world goes according to the protagonist's plan, and everything can be solved easily by the protagonist. This takes the fun out of novels, as there's nothing for you to care about as everything can be done so easily.To put it simply, it's basically a novel where you turn your brain off and read.
