It's a funny story but the translation is a bit off in terms of the positions. Crown Prince is repeated several times but indicate different people which made me confused. One is the actual son of the current Emperor and one is the grandson but both were translated as Crown Prince. The author also doesn't name the side characters but used their positions which made it very confusing to me.Storywise it is fun. MC has the gossip system that allows those in the court with official positions to hear his thought. The gossip range from silly to very serious like treachery and mu*der attempts. A lot of people don't like the MC as the political undercurrent is tense but they also heard the "voice of heaven" aka System saying that if MC dies, everyone's secret will be revealed to the world for 100 years. So everyone is like NO DONT LET HIM DIE. Emperor will try to keep MC alive.I find that the novel Let All the Officials Hear My Thoughts; I'm Just Going to Slack off and Watch the Drama is way funnier than this one but that novel is more chaotic. This one tries to tiptoe the line between comedy and serious plot. I stopped at page 58 of the MTL as I couldn't read further. No pairing for the ML with an abrupt end when I skipped ahead.
