People with stats in the thousands like this Rynford guy can be blocked even tough they have like Tier 2 Evil God magic skill and like 2000 magic but much later in the story when Fran is like 4 times stronger and has Maxed out Tier 2 Sword Ability that is like highest possible (since the idiotic sword forgot it has like the overskill ability that can evolve maxed skills) level with much more stuff and gets wrecked by people with lower stats and lower weapon mastery.
Either I am really dumb or the author does not manage do be consistent in his ability grading since the novel even once said that having 5 levels difference in weapon mastery gives an insurmountable rift that even absurdly higher stats do not cover (remember the super skeleton guy). But no Fran can't win against person with lower speed and lower whip arts even tough she has like a sword with 3700 attack (not that it was ever explained how that number does influence anything) and 120 skills tailored to the situation.
